Our Mission Statement...
The Pastoral team will serve and support the scattered parish of
St. Joseph's, Dorking in the practice of our faith in Christ by:
- praying for and discerning present and future needs;
- encouraging the use of existing talents and strengths;
- reaching out, listening to and welcoming all parishioners;
- working for an increasing unity with other Christians;
- linking with the wider community, especially those in need.
Our aims are ambitious. We seek the ideal in pursuit
of the possible. We cannot achieve anything without a lot of help
and co-operation from the parish community. We ask for your prayers,
ideas, proposals and practical help. If you think you can help in
any way at all, please do not hesitate to put your thoughts in writing
and pop them through the letterbox of the presbytery or speak to one
of the members of the team. All ideas and offers are welcome. We are
working on your behalf and with your willing help and the guidance
of the Holy spirit we can achieve much.
