Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

Saturday mornings after Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, until 11.30 am.

Monday evenings from 6.00 pm to 7.15 pm

Weekday mornings for 1 hour after Mass


Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)

Saturday mornings from 10.15am-11.30am

Saturday evenings from 5.15 pm to 5.45 pm.


Holydays of Obligation

Mass times for Holydays of Obligation are 7.30 am, 9.30 am and 8.00 pm


Baptism

Baptism Welcomes people into the church. For infants it involves a short preparation course for the parents. These are held three times a year, normally in February, June and October.

The next course starts on Mon 31/10/11 7pm - 8pm in St Joseph's School, Norfolk Road. There is a second session on Mon 07/11/11 7pm - 8pm in St Joseph's School and the final session is on Mon 14/11/11 7.30pm in the Church for Mass.

The course is run by Anne Flood, Russell and Sarah Mimms. No enrolment is required beforehand just turn up at the school.

Baptism may be at any Sunday Mass or a communal celebration on a Sunday afternoon. Please contact the parish office on 01306 882433 for further information.


First Holy Communion

Preparation begins in September, meeting weekly in term time, leading to the celebration in May.  Those 7 years old and over in September are welcome. For further details and to join the class, please contact the parish office on 01306 882433 for further information or pick up the information/registration form at the back of the Church from mid-July.

2012 First Holy Communion will take place at the 11:00am Mass on Sunday 6th May.


Confirmation

For young people, in year 9 or above at school (14+), the confirmation preparation begins at the beginning of February this year, leading to the celebration at our Deanery Church, St. Joseph's, Epsom on 30th April 2011. Marriage

In accordance with diocesan regulations, couples seeking to get married at St. Joseph's must give at least six months notice and will be required to take part in a pre-marriage course. Please contact the parish priest, on 01306 882433.
