Resources for Home Prayer and Worship

As we face parish life without the celebration of public liturgy, here are a some idea how we can pray together as a parish while in our own homes. Each week I will put up something for that Sunday, and I will post regularly to the parish Facebook page. We will also continue to publish the parish newsletter.

In addition to these here are some useful links from further afield.

For 'live streaming' Mass

We don't have the facilities for this at St Joseph's, but some parishes around the diocese do, including:

More parishes are providing this facility and a more comprehensive and up-to-date list can be found on the diocesan website. There are also live and recorded Masses available at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. The midday Mass from there is particularly recommended. Some parishes are offering other services streamed as well, including Adoration. Try a few out and see which suits you best!

Although I am not able to live stream the Mass from St Joseph's, I will be saying a daily Mass, and I will put the times in the parish calendar so, if you wish, you can join with me spiritually at that time. It will normally be 9am on weekdays and 10am on Sundays.
