The latest Deanery newsletter is now available at the back of Church / on the website and is an invitation to celebrate so many wonderful things that have been going on in the Deanery. There's also an account of the conversations that clergy have been having about pastoral provision in the times to come and some of the important principles that have been at the heart of their discussions. Please do have a read, and, as we look forward to welcoming Bishop-elect Stephen, let's remember Archbishop Richard's refrain that all is to be rooted in prayer.
As an additional note:- Fr. Charles Howell will be taking a sabbatical as of the autumn and there is no priest to take his place! As a consequence, there will have to be adjustments of Mass times across all of the churches in the existing Epsom Deanery so that Mass will continue to be offered at both Fetcham and Effingham. Various scenarios have been suggested but nothing definite has been decided as yet, however, we do need to be prepared for a change in Mass times at the weekend.
