Confirmation

This Sacrament is celebrated with those who have undergone a period of preparation. For younger people they should be in Year 10 or above of their secondary education. The Confirmation Course / Classes usually start early in the New Year. Information about Confirmation in a given academic year is available over the summer in the parish newsletter. Application forms with further details and application deadlines are available
in the church until the application deadline.

As with preparation for Baptism and First Holy Communion, it is expected that those wishing to be Confirmed attend Sunday Mass, demonstrating something of the practice of their Catholic faith.
